We pick up at most locations in Steamboat Springs. Choose a location from the drop down or enter an address in checkout. Listed times are pick up times in Steamboat. Adults only on any run that is at the springs after dark. Winter reservations include 1 hour 45 minutes at the springs. Summer reservations include 2 hours at the springs. Total trip time is around 3 hours.

A separate Strawberry Park pool reservation is not needed for pool entry when riding the shuttle.

The Hot Springs Shuttle is the best way to get from your door to the relaxing pools of the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

The Strawberry Park Hot Springs are some of the most beautiful mineral hot springs in the world. But the unimproved road to the hot springs can be a bit rough. Why not leave the driving to us? Our courteous, experienced drivers will make the scenic door-to-door drive to the hot springs fun and relaxing. And we'll even point out a few points of interest along the way. Here are some tips to make your trip better: things to know before you go.

Important things to know

  • The Strawberry Park Hot Springs are very popular with families during the day.

  • Adults only after dark. Clothing is optional once the sun goes down. No one under 18 is allowed at the hot springs after sunset.

  • It can be dark at night. Really dark.

  • No glass containers are allowed at the hot springs.

  • You can, and should, bring your own non-alcoholic beverages in non-glass containers. NO ALCOHOL allowed in shuttles or at springs.

  • It is a short walk down to the hot springs.

  • In the winter bring warm clothing and good footwear (not flip flops) so you can make the short walk to the hot springs comfortably.

  • There are both private and not so private changing areas available at the hot springs.

  • Wear your swim suit under your clothes to speed up getting into the pools.

  • The hot springs are located on an unimproved dirt road. Per county regulations four-wheel drive vehicles with snow tires or chains are required from November 1 - May 1.

  • All reservations are non-refundable unless canceled 24 hours prior to tour time.

NOTICE OF RATE INCREASE

Hot Springs Shuttle filed Passenger Tariff, Colorado PUC No. 5 with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission on March 5, 2026.  The proposed effective date of the tariff is May 1, 2026.


Hot Springs Shuttle, under Common Carrier Certificate No. 55857, may provide shuttle service between all points within a ten-mile radius of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Seventh Street, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on the one hand, and Strawberry Park Hot Springs, 44200 County Road 36, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on the other hand.


Hot Springs Shuttle in Passenger Tariff, Colorado PUC No. 5, proposes to increase fares for certain of the shuttle transportation services:

The proposed fares will become effective May 1, 2026, unless the Colorado Public Utilities Commission suspends the effective date of the proposed changes.


Objections to the proposed tariff changes may be mailed to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, 1560 Broadway, Suite 250, Denver, CO 80202, or e-filed in Proceeding No. 26AL-0116TR.  Any objection to the proposed tariff changes must be received by Colorado Public Utilities Commission on or before April 28, 2026.


If the Commission sets the matter for hearing, the filing of a written objection will not by itself allow a person to participate in the hearing.  To participate in the hearing, a party must also file a written intervention and receive leave of the Commission to intervene.  Requests to intervene as a party must comply with Commission rules.
